63 pilot whales at Midvagur on 6th June
269 long finned pilot whales killed at Vestmanna on 14th June
& another 178 long finned pilot whales killed at Leynar later that same day (447 lives taken that day)

The statistics are shocking - with 570 long finned pilot whales killed already this year.
without any limiting quota or hunt season - this year could get much MUCH worse.
